Ramona Holmes Smith

Ramona E Smith, 70, of South Hill, VA, passed away on 5/31/17, from a brief illness. Mona was born in Exeter, NH on 2/20/1947 and grew up in Freemont, NH. She lived in Dublin, NH before relocating to Virginia. Mona was married to Leroy F Smith for 50 years. She enjoyed working beside her husband at Performance Unlimited North in Dublin, NH as well as her career as a full-time mother. She had a passion for flowers, shrubs and trees; as well as browsing the local antique shops for her latest treasures. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Smith; sister, Connie Neil; brothers, Leon and Guerwood Holmes; step-children, Richard and Roxanne; along with several loving nieces and nephews, 4 grandchildren, and many friends. Mona is preceded in death by her daughter, Sheri Smith. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Cremation Society of Virginia - Southside, Inc.
