Mrs. Nellie Jean Cowan Brauda, 81, widow of Curtis Milton Brauda, passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 at MeadowView Terrace in Clarksville. Mrs. Brauda was born April 8, 1933 in Halifax County, NC to the late Charles Otis and Nellie Estel O'Ham Cowan. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Brauda is survived by her daughters, Sandra Sue Brauda of Virgilina and Elizabeth Rebecca Brauda of Florida and sons, Curtis Brauda of Virgilina and Charles Otis Brauda of Florida. Her grandchildren, Christina, Bobby and Sarah and three great grandchildren also survive. Private interment will take place at a later date in Virginia Beach
