Linda Jo McJunkin Justice, beloved mother, sister, and grandmother passed away on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at the age of 73. Born on August 7th, 1952, in Portsmouth, Linda lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community.
Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Irvin B. McJunkin and Jean Kemper McJunkin. She was also preceded in death by her dear husband, John Justice, her beloved son, Jonathan "Shep" Justice, and her sister-in-law, Judy Baker.
Linda's memory will forever be cherished by her son, Jason Justice and his wife, Maria; her daughter, Cori Belliares and her husband, Bill. A devoted grandmother, she will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Jasmine, Jada, Judah, Jonathan, and Jenesis. She is also survived by her loving sister, Patty Pearman, and her brother-in-law, Greg.
A dedicated member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Keysville, VA, Linda valued her faith and community deeply. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading and gardening, with a particular fondness for peonies, which brightened her days and her garden.
Honoring Linda's wishes, there will be no formal services at this time. Her family draws comfort from the love she shared and the beautiful memories they have with her.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Cremation Society of Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that those who wish to honor Linda’s memory do so by embracing the beauty of nature, perhaps through the planting of a peony bush.
