It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Wayne Taylor, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Wayne passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Bullock, North Carolina, at the age of 63. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and innovation.

Born on December 31, 1962, in Hartford, Maryland, Wayne was the son of the late Curtis D. Taylor and Brenda Karns Taylor. He grew up in a close-knit family and carried those bonds throughout his life.

Wayne was a man of many talents and could fix anything. Armed with a bachelor's degree, he transformed his skills and passion into a successful career as a contractor, electrician, and plumber. He was not only a builder but also an inventor, known for his remarkable ability to find solutions and improve the lives of those around him. His expertise and dedication earned him a respected place in his community.

A devoted family man, Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Paula Taylor. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He is also survived by his cherished children, Dustin Taylor and his wife Amber, and Heather Simon and her husband Greg. Wayne's  legacy continues through his precious granddaughter, Reyna Taylor, who brought immense joy to his life.

Wayne is also survived by his siblings, Danny Taylor and his wife Jenny, and Kay Mayo and her husband Jay, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold dear the memories shared with their beloved uncle.

Predeceased by his parents and brother, Darrell Taylor, Wayne is now reunited with them, finding peace in eternal rest.

Wayne's life will be commemorated with arrangements provided by the Cremation Society of Virginia. In honoring his wishes, no formal services will be held. Instead, we invite all who knew and loved him to hold their own remembrances and celebrate the wonderful memories they shared with this extraordinary man.

Wayne  will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
