The name says it all, Cremation Society… Cremation is our total focus, where a funeral home’s focus is mostly on funerals.
Are you cheaper than Funeral Homes?
YES…Usually 25% or more! However, be careful, some funeral homes will not include all charges in “their quote” such as (medical examiner, alternative container, sub-contracted crematory charges, etc). We always provide OUR TOTAL COST when you call 1-877-578-9747.
When death occurs, what do I do?
Simply call us. Our staff will transport the body to our facility, when the authorizations and permits are completed the cremation will occur on site.
Are there Social Security or Veterans benefits?
Yes, a spouse or dependent child will receive a $255 death benefit in most cases. Veterans may be entitled to cash, cemetery property, a marker, and flag.
I live some distance away from your office, can you help me?
YES, from our office in Clarksville, VA. we routinely serve families 75 miles away and beyond. We provide Simple, Affordable, and Dignified Cremation to ALL of Southern Virginia and Northern North Carolina.
What happens if death occurs out-of-state?
No problem, we have an affiliate network. Our staff will still be able to handle all of your arrangements no matter where death occurs.
What does Cremation Cost?
Our Members are paying $1395 for Simple Cremation, If death occurs outside of our 75 mile radius a nominal mileage charge would be added as well.
Do I have to purchase an urn?
No, you will be asked to select a container for the cremated remains. Our selection will fit any budget.
How do I become a member?

Can I prefund my Cremation?
Yes, you can lock in today’s price of $1395 by prefunding. Your money will be placed in an insurance trust that is regulated by the state where it will be secure until death occurs.
I already have pre-arrangements with a Funeral Home, can you still take care of me?
Yes, call us at 877-578-9747 and one of our licensed cremation specialists will assist you in transferring your arrangements and saving you money. In most cases you are overfunded and when death occurs your family will receive a refund.
Can I see where the cremation is done?
Yes, our facility is located in downtown Clarksville, VA and we welcome anyone interested in a tour can stop by to see.
What are “Pet Services”?
We are the only provider of Pet Cremation Services in Southside Virginia and Northern North Carolina. We have a crematory that is designed and used only for our four legged family members. |
